Can I clean my boxing gloves with alcohol?
Leather gloves should never be cleaned with any detergents that contain alcohol. Not only will using alcohol discolor your gloves but, much more importantly, it will also cause cracks and tears which will deteriorate the material integrity and render your gloves useless.
What is the best way to clean boxing gloves?
Pour about one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into your hand or onto a clean towel. Rub it inside your gloves thoroughly. Next, allow your boxing gloves to dry overnight in a well-ventilated area. You should notice your gloves no longer stink in the morning, but if you still notice a smell, repeat the process.

Transfer the solution to a spray bottle and give the inside of the gloves several spritzes. You can use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar to clean your gloves.
How do you wash gloves?
We recommend machine-washing your gloves in cold water using a mild laundry detergent. If you don’t have a washing machine, we recommend washing your gloves in a sink using mild laundry detergent or dishwashing soap. Do NOT use bleach or solvents as these oxidizing agents can cause discoloration.

Keep your gloves out of the washing machine and dryer! The problem with washing your gloves is that your gloves will get loaded with so much moisture that it will take ages for it to dry completely. In short, washing machine and dryer = Big NO!

Make sure if you air dry your gloves that you don’t need to be using them for many hours on end, because nothing is worse than having to box with wet gloves. Stuff them with newspapers – This is a way that isn’t used very often.
